i don't really have one...

i dont believe in god [please don't preech to me] but i do believe that if you are a good person, you go to the other side and if you are bad, then your spirit is either forced to stay earthbound or you are horeshoed back into the womb...

does anyone else have the same beliefs as me...or does anyone else know if there is a name for this?

thanks =]

Buddhists don't believe in a god (well, some do, but it's not an inherent aspect of Buddhism) and believe that we go through a series of reincarnations until we reach enlightenment. Sound similar?

Lexie---no reason to preach. Everyone has a right to believe in a creator or not to believe in a creator. But there is nothing written anywhere that I am aware of that indicates "good people go to the other side and bad people get to hang out or get re-cycled. ;-) Unfortunately, (I hope this doesn't sound preachy) your statement is flawed. You indicate you have no "religion." But you believe in good and evil. You don't have a religion but your believe in "spirits." You don't have a religion but you believe in the possibility of "re-incarnation." So exactly what do you think is going to happen to you when you cease to inhabit your body? Please let me hear from you. It sounds like you have "several religions." You may need some clarification on some of the issues you raised here and I don't mind discussing it with you if you want to chat.

Just my opinion.

You have a blessed day.

IMO, you are fooling yourself if you think you don't believe in God. You just believe in a God who put things on autopilot.

But, check out the "Belief-o-matic" and it will match you with a religion that fits your beliefs. It is actually pretty cool.

If you don't believe in God, you have no religion, your personal beliefs are your Philosophies.

Horsehoed? Gosh, sounds uncomforable!

If you don't believe in god, then I wonder what your definition of the "other side" is?

I think you might resonate with what is called New Spirituality.

My view is somewhat similar. God also might make you a functionary (give you a task or job).

You're a spiritually seeking person, like most people in the world. You might consider the psychological approach though.

I believe in me

I believe in this existence

I feel that there is so much to do right now, what happens when you die is a moot point with so many things to do and share here
