Based on most modern definitions of the word it would be contradictory. You would not be following the very foundation of what it is to be a Christian. I think it would be possible to act christian or "Christ like" and not believe in God. People have been doing it all throughout history for their own gain. There are also Christians who slip and make mistakes, we are all sinners afterall but they are still depending and believing on God. However acting and being are two different things and by only acting without actually putting ones faith in God they would be forfitting the joy that comes from being a follower and worshiper of God. There is nothing like it...
Here is the definition

And as human beings being made in God's image, or being able 2 replicate his traits, in case you wouldnt' perpetually punish somebody in hearth why might He? He does not, the bible merely says, the wages of sin is loss of existence (romans 6:23) besides, why might he positioned human beings in hell 2 be tortured if in accordance 2 the Bible, the lifeless are not conscious of something... ecclesiastes 9:5, 6, 10...they does not even experience something! :)

I think that you actually can be. theres something more then just believing and not believing because even die hard Christians have their moments of non believing.

I'm not sure what i believe and I'm okay with that because i don't think we get credit for believing i just think we have to live and do the best we can do.

If there were TRUE chrisitanity it would involve taking the Sermon on the Mount and ashcanning the rest of the Bible. It doesn't matter if Jesus was a real person, a total fiction,or perhaps a combination of both. The real Jesus is in the message, not the man.

No. A christian is a follower of Christ.
*Acts 11:26 And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.
