my nose piercing has closed up at the surface where i had to take it out for work, and there is no way to get a stud back into it, should i just leave it to heal by itself, of do i need some sort of special cleaning regime ?

mannn, it's depressing, i loved my nose piercing !

Serves you right for mutilating your body.

Mine have always been fine; just make sure you keep it clean, put antiseptic on it if it looks a bit red and go to the doctor if you think it is infected (it shouldn't really get red at all) so you don't get scarred.
If you really want to be safe, take some zinc supplements or something to support healing.

You can just let it heal over. If it gets a bit red and infected just rub it with disinfectant and it should be totally healed within a couple of weeks. Then just get it pierced again.

Just leave it!!!!

Youre body will heal itself!!!

i have let my belly close up after a nasty infection and its fine! if you put chemicals etc on it it may leave scars and take longer to heal!

Pierce the other side of your nose & leave that one be.

It wouldn't be a bad idea to clean it throughly just to be on the safe side.
