It will only whine at night for about 1 to 2 weeks.
When I got my dog she whined alot because she missed her mother.
So all dogs whine at night.
Hope I helped.

Oh my. It has been my experience (owner of 7 dogs since puppies) that all puppies whine in the night. However, the good news is that they outgrow it. Enjoy your new baby! I'm a doxie Mom too!

All puppies whine at night. That's what puppies do. If that's a problem for you, don't get a dog. Goldfish don't whine.

for mine i kept him by my head and put my fingers in his crate for about a week then i slowly got him ok with being further and further away from me. singing to my boy seemed to help.

All puppies do whine but if you ignore it, they will eventualy find out you're not coming and they'll stop.

some do and some don't.
give him a stuffed animal to cuddle with and an alarm clock that ticks so it sounds like moms heart beat.

Let's hope not. Nobody likes a drunk dachshund.
