Papaya and Mango, from Ethiopia. The mangos are at least three times the size of the ones sold in the UK as large mangos. They are sweet and very juicy. The papayas are huge and also sweet and very juicy. In cafes, a popular drink is fresh squeezed mango and papaya, for around 50p ($1) for 1/2 litre. Sadly, you can't get these fruits in the UK as mangos and papayas are imported from South America and the West Indies. South American fruit has little flavour and the West Indies fruit is small, sweet but not as juicy as the large Ethiopian ones. In addition, Ethiopia produces an orange that is not exported. It is the sweetest and deliciously juicy orange that I have ever known. The orange is small and green. It looks like a lime but isn't. It's sad that they don't export this orange as it is possibly the best orange on this planet.

The thing about good tasting fruit is ripeness & freshness.

Very few people get to eat fruit at the peak of ripeness so there a fruits from other countries that just aren't available at their peak.

I had some pineapple from a road side stand in Hawaii once & never have I had pineapple again that was as good.

There was a plum tree where I would pick the plums off the ground when they fell that were at their peak.

Rasberries that fall off into your hands when you pick them are at their peak.

Pick an apple from a tree at its peak.

The thing is fruits are a delight & I can't say that I have a favorite.

The flesh of this succulent fruit is over 90 percent water. Native to Africa, it was a valuable and portable source of water for desert situations and when natural water supplies were contaminated. Watermelons were cultivated in Egypt and India as far back as 2500 B.C. as evidenced in ancient hieroglyphics.

Oh for me it is the Mango! There are many varieties, but the best ones come from India. Just this past year, the US, lifted the ban on importing them from India. They are simply amazing.

The flavor has been referred to as a cross between pineapple and a peach. I love to eat them as is and a favorite recipe is to make a Mango salsa.

Since taste is subjective everyone will have a different answer.

I love strawberries, watermelon, peaches......

To see what they look like, go to the store, buy and taste.
