Mother tongue- malayalam
I speak malayalam and English really well.
Understand basic conversations in Hindi. I watch tamil movies, since it is pretty close to malayalam, it isn't actually that bad to understand. But I can't understand it completely. I am taking spanish at my school. I am progressing in my spanish. So I know languages here and there. I think It is really cool to tell people that u know different languages !!

My native langauge is English as I live in the U.S. But I also can speak Spanish and Portuguese. I know some basics for French and Italian but I strongly doubt I'd be able to carry on a conversation. While I definitely want to reach fluency in these two Japanese is the language that I'm working on the most right not because I plan to attend a university in Japan next school year.
I mostly speak English with my friends and co-workers. However, occasionally my job will require me to be in contact with someone who only speaks Spanish so I'll have to speak this language. I also speak Spanish quite often with my hispanic friends too. Although I really like Portuguese as well I don't get much of an opportunity to practice it : (
You didn't mention anything about yourself. What is your native langauge? Do you speak any others?
Ciao!!!

My mother tongue is Dutch. I speak English as well and some French and German.
Mostly I speak Dutch to my co-workers, friends and family. I work in a supermarket where sometimes I speak English to customers. I learned French and German in secondary school but I never use it anymore.
During an average week I speak English quite a lot because I'm a student of English language and culture at University so I speak English to my teachers and peers.

My mother tongue is....(surprise)English. I can also speak French, Hindi, Italian and some Russian. I'm studying German right now and maybe after that I'll move on to Spanish. The best language for me is Hindi cuz' I'm a born Indian. It's the language I can speak with most ease and in which I don't feel shy or anything but ask me to talk in Russian or even Italian and I'll start
stuttering right away!

My mother tongue is Sowrashtra. I can speak Tamil, English, and a little of Hindi, Marathi.
Native Sowrashtra speakers are very less in population and even harder to find out until you catch them speaking with their relatives or parents in that language. I speak English, Tamil or Hindi with my co-workers. With relatives I speak in Sowrashtra.
I like Sowrashtra the most.

I have 2 native languages, Finnish and Swedish. As I have some relatives that speak Swedish I of course speak that language to them and vice versa. To my co-workers I speak the language they speak.
Except for the above languages I speak:
English
German
French
Spanish
I like English and Spanish the most (my favourite languages).

My native language is Dutch, because I am from Belgium, where most people speak Dutch as a mother tongue and English second. I also speak Spanish and Portuguese because I lived in those countries for many years.
In the south of Belgium they speak French and in the east German, but I don't speak those languages well at all.

English is my native language. I also speak German fluently since I live in Germany. I like both languages, but I will always be able to express myself better in English when talking about deep feelings.
I teach English so I always speak English to my co-workers. We speak English at home for the sake of the children (they should grow up speaking both languages and they already speak German at school).

My mother tongue is Indonesian, the national language of Indonesia. I also speak some vernacular languages such as Sundanese and Minangkabau.
I speak English quite well and have learned Spanish, French, German, Thai, Korean, Japanese in descending order of proficiency, if any. :)
Working in an English-language newspaper, I write in English, speak mostly Indonesian with coworkers and English with the copy editors.
While admiring the Romance languages (French, Spanish etc), I still am pride of Bahasa Indonesia which manages to unite my country of more than 300 ethnic groups. :)
