I have checked into this for a long time & I decided on a Sony 42" LCD, HDTV, BRAVIA. The Bravia engine is an interface one that gives excellent resolution in HD & Digital. The Bravia model has 2 HDMI inputs & 2 USB inputs for a better variety of add ons. I would suggest buying a 32" Sony CRT Flat Screen TV for gaming($199.00), because the direct view screen on the CRT is not affected by the high speed of the gaming graphics, and all the widescreen ones are affected to some degree, like burn in, rainbow effect & others, which will ruin your big TV. For the little extra, I got the dealer to throw in the Sony CRT 32" for $75.)) !! The Bravia is HD-Ready, so you'll need the HD/Digital cable box to be able to display the HD image, which mine does very well, but I needed the Hd cable box. The dealers don't make you aware of that detail.

I sell flat panel televisions for a living and I will tell you now do not buy a Vizio!! People love that they are so cheap, but you do get what you pay for. Out of the box, they look great, but it doesn't last for long. I sold 11 Vizio's this year and have had to return 8 of them due to poor quality. Some may respond to this answer and say that they love their Vizio, but I'm telling you it's not worth it. Stick with the big guns: LG, Sony, Sharp, Samsung, Toshiba. Otherwise, you are wasting your money.

Lg kind is a huge television for its value its not the excellent available besides the incontrovertible fact that it grants great useful properties and image for what they value. in fact Lg got here out with the recent and exciting quattron technologies. It provides yellow to the typical shade spectrum. All tvs have crimson blue and green. yet Lg is the only television kind that provides yellow for a great greater organic shade depiction. Sony has better television useful properties and image high quality yet is overvalued confident. i'm a Samsung fan and love their tvs they have a great number of affordable tvs yet nonetheless cram in greater useful properties then the different manufacturers. Vizio is great while you're searching for a huge television, they are the only ones to grant great tvs for sensible costs, not something in need of high quality. Panasonic is the excellent in case you get their Kura plasma kind which at the instant are discontinued :(.
