It is a simple reference to the idea that if we have faith God will answer our prayers.

Notice it does not tell us that God will do what we ask. It just tells us that they will be answered.

Love and blessings Don

I think in this parable God sees that this women is unjust. But yet the judge lets her have some slack because she is persistent and the judge is tired of dealing with such a wicked women so he allows her to go on and have her way which is not the right thing for the judge to have done. So Jesus is saying to us,,,,,,,," Why do you keep on asking me for help when you know that I am your God and I will do whatever you ask. God said just ask and you shall receive. that means what is in reason. We can't ask for big homes or lots of money, well we can but will we get that? I don't know? Anyway Jesus was saying be of good faith and pray and who are you. Are you no better then someone who begs all the time for me to help you. Jesus is telling his people to be persistent like this women was with this judge.Because if it paid off for this women and she was unjust and a Judge on the land granted this to an unjust person then you bet Jesus is higher then a Judge and he listens to us all, just or unjust but we have to be persistant in prayer and worship to. And to be just so when he comes back he will give to us in abundance. The bible speaks a lot in parables so it is tuff to understand sometimes. I agree, Thanks and God Bless you.

Luk 18:1 And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;
Luk 18:2 Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man:
Luk 18:3 And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary.
Luk 18:4 And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man;
Luk 18:5 Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.
Luk 18:6 And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith.
Luk 18:7 And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?
Luk 18:8 I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth

Jesus Christ told them in a way of parables how to pray on the right way and not to feel doubt on the said prayers.

He said , In a city, there is a judge who is not afraid of God and is not respecting any man. and in that city, there is a widow woman who always go to him telling him to give her justice against her enemy.There are many times that the judge refuse the woman but after realizing that he is not afraid to God and he is not respecting any man and because the widow woman has been going to him and disturbing him to give justice
.he decided to make something which will cause him to lost favor in going to himn. And the Lord said, hear the words of this bad judge tht he is not thinking that God has the power to give justice and selected to give justice to those who are going to him day and night. Jesus said, this judge is giving justice to them instantly but at the time that Jesus will be coming back to earth, will the judge find faith in the earth?OK? I hope you understand. God bless you.

These set of scriptures is about perseverance! As Webster's definition: 2. In theology, continuance in a state of grace to a state of glory; sometimes called final perseverance.
That if we persevere in seeking, looking, finding, searching the truth of God and Lord Jesus Christ, God will be gracious and merciful to show us and give us all the answers to the questions in our mind that hinders us; to be submissive, to humble, and or truly bow down unto our knees, with mourning, with sorrows in our hearts with true repentance for all the sins and iniqtuities we have done against the Almighty God Creator! AMEN.

Jesus uses this parable to teach His followers the need for constant prayer so that we never LOSE faith, while undergoing the most trying of situations.

We do not avenge ourselves, because only God knows the hearts of men.

Romans 12:19-21, "Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. Therefore, if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. Be not overcome of
evil, but overcome evil with good".

"give place unto wrath", mean when we avenge ourselves, God wont avenge us, but when we do good to those who do us harm, we are giving place to God's vengeance. His fire cleanses, it doesn't harm. His fire is a refining fire which will change our enemy into a brother.

Isn't cheating a sin?

EDIT: My mistake... judging by the thumbs down, cheating isn't a sin. Still doesn't make it a great way to learn anything though.
