NO, God is a human invention, I have an IQ of 137, just a tad off of Mensa, and I seriously cannot understand all this religious crap..In my opinion, you just have to read the first few pages of the Bible or the Koran, and if you have any intelligence at all, you would dismiss it as bull sh!t..

WHY do people believe as they do? Because there are sound reasons for it? Do we not often observe that people believe what they want to believe? Perhaps they believe something because it is popular. This is often true with regard to belief in God, what the purpose of life is and what the future holds.

“If we start with an open mind, ready to believe or not believe according to the evidence, it is quite probable that we shall discover that it is easier to believe in God than to decide that plants, animals and man himself, body and mind, had their origin as the product of blind, purposeless chance. It is perhaps fitting to add that many persons do not wish to believe in God. They realize that it would rebuke their past and change their future to an unpleasant degree if they did." John 17~3

Yes i do
According to the Big Bang theory the universe was formed by a collossal explosion of a very dense existence of energy and matter smaller than an atom 15 billion years ago.
Where can this come from?
What about the time before this?
We get answers for these from religion and GOD

Yes but not in the context of the christian god. I believe we have a Holy Mother. If you look at the goddess figures found in European archaeological digs, you find the one I love. She is truly beautiful. Christians can keep there overbearing controlling male god to themselves.

well, i'm woth u on ur additional comment. God most certainly does exist. He deserves praise for his creation. if u observe all his creations, you will see how everything is just nice. for eg, oxygen. we have the exact amount. too much or too little could be dangerous. nobody can say that it is all just a coincidence. In the Bible, it says that God is a God of order. that is why, as you said, everthing in this universe in is order. God does exist. I'm one of Jehovah's Witnesses and i believe that his name is Jehovah. He indeed is the Almighty.

I used to, now I KNOW He exists with a perfect knowledge. Those who crossed through the Red Sea when Moses parted it became knowers, those who beheld Jesus after He arose from the grave and touched the nail prints in His hands also became knowers. Becoming a knower is a possibility.

well,
I believe that there is a god, like, since we have so many religions, there must be some form of greater being.
I think we are being punished in a way, I mean, look at global warming and pollution.

No, I see no compelling evidence for the existence of a deity. Certainly no evidence for a deity of the sort humans have developed in religions. What we don't know and yet understand is just what we don't know, some people look at things that blow their mind and need to plug in God for that. To me its just what we don't comprehend until we have evidence one way or another.
