For us the difference is that our Volunteers, earn a ticket into the Festival ..they volunteer 4x4 hour shifts and receive a ticket in to the value of $300...with this they also receive 4 meal vouchers.....If you are interested check out our site...www.peatsridgefestival.com.au

In economic terms nothing much but socially ,quite different.Volunteer work is a contribution where as unpaid work is deprivation.

volunteer work is work one does willingly without expectation of compensation, unpaid work is also known as slavery
