I really love the Comedy Cellar in the village in NYC. The best night to go is a wed night because there are always top names making guest appearances. You never know who's going to show up. I've been there and suddenly Chris Rock is on stage. It's a small venue so it's amazing. The cast of SNL is often known to make appearances.

Govenor's in Levittown and The Brokerage Comedy Club in Bellmore. And Carolines in Manhattan. It depends who is performing when it comes to special guest appearances like Jerry Seinfeld, Kevin James, or Eddie Murphy, all from Long Island.
