Sentinel, but they say, "once saved, always saved", what happened to that claim? basically, they are saying that whatever they do, they will get to heaven anyway.

Good question Tango keep it up. Those Bible-fundies like to say Catholic are not sure they going to heaven or guarantee to go to heaven, but if you turn the question around as you did they given a different answer. Bible-funides Pastors lie and deceive their own followers by saying you are saved by pointing out you are going to heaven by faith alone. This is not true. If it was true then it will be very easy to be save. The real true God will judge you in how one did with the Grace by one works (evidence he will ask)

You need to look at the larger picture: There are things to do before we go. It would be pure selifshness to just leave.
Paul said in Phillipians 1: 22 "But if I am to live on in the flesh, this will mean fruitful labor for me; and I do not know which to choose. 23 But I am hard-pressed from both directions, having the desire to depart and be with Christ, for that is very much better; 24 yet to remain on in the flesh is more necessary for your sake. 25 Convinced of this, I know that I will remain and continue with you all for your progress and joy in the faith..."

I'm not a fundie in any shape, way or form. However I stay here as I believe God has a purpose for my life to continue. Besides, isn't it a bit rude to throw a gift back in the face of the one who gave it to you?

The saying of the false pastor of the born again religion that ones save, he is save is very wrong notion or very wrong belief.
Nobody of the false christian people could know whether they will go to heaven or not until judgement time. Nobody could be sure of going to heaven because it is God who will tell us about it.

We enjoy life also. If you don't believe then why do you labor in dead end jobs? Why not do everything that you want to do? why obey any rules? As long as you don't break any major laws you won't be hindered. Go out and sleep with as many people as you can. Dump them the next day. Who cares if their feelings are hurt, you are having fun.

You just don't get it....Its not all about self, there is work to be done here, Jesus said to his followers, that being all Christians, "Go into all the world and preach this gospel" meaning the gospel that he preached...Why, to do our best to guide people like you,that is to say (unbelievers) to him. The Apostle Paul said it best in Philippians 1: 21-25

i am a christian....i do not know what you mean by fundie....
we are supposed to be sharing the love of God with others...that is why we are not gone yet....there will be a time when we all do leave....so if you are not interested in God's love, then we will be out of your hair by then...the gospel is not criticism, although hell is real, ...the gospel is grace, mercy, peace, and love
we do not decide when we leave...God does....
