I had my hair lightened with the cap and it blends it well. Having foils means the colour will be more block and can look more tacky and cheap. The cap means you'll see your colour develop and the colours will be subtle and just look lighter in your hair as ppl say "your hair is lighter" but it doesnt look like ive had big blocks in my hair. A gal across the road has like foils and it looks horrible because they are wide and you can csee the different colours blocked in her hair. Highlightened just means it blends in more with your natural colour.

Highlighting, finger painting or streaking your hair is meant to add depth to your hair and lighten up your overall look. The color must compliment your natural hair color or the color with which your cover your hair fully. Choose the color for highlight that is at least 2 shades lighter than the rest of your hair to bring it to notice but do not go for colors more than 3 shades lighter as it might actually give an odd contrast and look unnatural. They are the same thing.

So..
This is a good guide with a step-by-step method to get your hair back http://hairagain.toptips.org

Male hair loss is the most common type of hair loss. It's caused by increased sensitivity to male sex hormones (androgens) in certain parts of the scalp, and is passed on from generation to generation. There are many factors that can attribute to hair recession or massive hair fall. You can try to regain your full head of healthy hair by following natural methods: they are cheaper, they have no side effect and very often more effective than conventional one.

As said above an interesting guide you can follow to get your hair back and prevent future hair loss without dangerous chemicals and drugs, and without expensive supplements or painful hair transplants is available on this site: http://hairagain.toptips.org

Highlights are strands and are done usually through a cap. Streaks are usually done with foils and are a solid block of colour. Highlights are mean't to be more natural and fit in with your natural hair colour. Streaks are more noticable.

I thought they were the same thing. Older people may say streaking, highlighting seems to be the professional term.

highlighting are tiny parts either lighted or darkened... all over the head
streaking are larger chunks of hair- a lot of people are getting the lowlights now- which are streaks throughout the bottom portion of your hair...

no highlights are when you have small strands of hair dyed to a different colour to your natural colour. highlights are blonde colours or light coppers. low lights are when you have darker colours, like black or brown. streaking is when you have larger strands of hair coloured then when other hair goes over the top it looks similar to highlights. hope i helped

Same thing. You can get chunky highlights or just a few strands. The hairs can be done with foils, or can be pulled through a perforated cap.

I think highlighting is bigger chunks of your hair being lightened, and streaking is small little streaks.

Highlights blend in with your hair, they are subtle. Streaks are more obvious and bold.
