Bleaching my hair and dying the front part blue with semi-permanent dye. I'm not sure if I'll get in trouble at work for it. I've never done anything exciting with my hair, and I felt like being all rebellious and stuff. I already bought all the stuff I need, but now I'm not sure if it'll be a good idea. What do you think?

I just work at my college's food market.. thingy. So it's not really professional, but not totally liberal.

Also, I was going to have a friend that is experienced with bleaching/dying hair do it for me.

Your born
You Live
You die..

In this list is a very obvious meaning..

You only live once<< and i think in the end if you don''t, then your not living, life if full of this harmless thrills, it''s not like your doing cocaine iis it..?

I think you should because it shows you as a person, who cares what your work thinks they can''t sack you for your hair colour, thats against the law, and is a means of ''ism''
[[ For example Blondism ]]

You have the right to be who you want to be.

Go on take that risk, i bet you will love the results..

Bleach is very damaging i wish i would have known what i know now the first time i bleached my hair because i would have never done it with out a pro. Anyway you could always add a few blue streaks through the underneath part that could be hidden easily if needed. Then you could show them off when you go out. Good luck

Go for it. Try Bigen dye. It contains no peroxide or ammonium. It's the best. It doesn't damage your hair. You can buy it at Sally's.
You'll love it.

They have all kinds of colors.
I just started dying my hair like 2 1/2 years ago. I'll never go back.

My hair looks exactly like my Avatar.

Well, if you're really sure about the change, then I say "Go For It!". If you don't do it now, I don't think you'll have the chance to do it in the future. But also make sure that it won't have to cost you your job, if your job deals with 'serious' business matters where proper presentation is necessary.

Why do you need to be rebellous sounds like you are old enough to be working, don't mess up your job just to do something sill like that. Noone can respect or take seriously a person with Blue hair, unless it is do to age(Love you golden girls)

How about starting with finding out if your employer is cool with it?! It's great fun playing with your hair, but you have to play the bosses game when it comes to that. Otherwise,go find yourself a job where that isn't a problem. Hot Topic maybe?!

Depends what of work youa re doing, not a good idea if ur a lawyer lol I suggest you doing it during the holidays if you have holidays. Or ask your colleagues at work to see what they think about it and go ahead

depends on where you work and what type of position you hold, if you are a hairdresser or work in a club or music store should have no problems at all, anything dealing with the public face to face might get you in trouble

It sounds nice to me. :)

If you are worried, ask if it's okay at work first... you can ask your friends if they think it will suit you but if they say no then don't listen to them anyway, lol.

(my friends looked at me like I was stupid whenever I was going to do something different with my hair... and it always turned out really good.. don't listen to friends, heh)
