Wow, I've never heard that the study of stars and space was evil!

Religion does not like competition, when it comes to understanding the mysteries of life. Astrology could be used in conjunction with religion, but most religions expect a form of religious nationalism. They force people to have to believe all that they believe, and allow for no open searching through the use of outside sources. Astrology could be a means of tuning into nature and its cycles. I am trying to get a new Astrology system out to the world, developed over 30 years of extreme effort, I am sure a lot of religions, will not like this.

Jesus was the sun of heaven (whether he existed or not) and like the other god-men before him he followed the sun through the astrological houses; as astrology is used to plot the future (newspapers, magazines and countless books) so has the bible (Revelations and other places in the bible).

They’re both scams that rip off the gullible.

* "Early Christianity took far more interest in the stars than did Judaism or Islam. The Revelation of St. John is full of astral allusions. Jesus is referred to as the "light of the world" in the astronomical sense also, and the twelve disciples represented the twelve months of the solar year. John the Baptist stood for the Moon, and was assigned as many disciples as the month had days: 29,5. His one female disciple was counted as only a half!"

Hi back at you.

Astrology kinda is a religion, so I guess there is no issue.

Some other religions believe that astrology is evil, if you call that an issue.

You need a license to practice astrology in the Bible. Astrology is totally banned in Israel and in Christianity except for the 3 soothsayers or star gazers from the East who came looking for the newborn King of the Jews in Judea because they saw his star in the East. It turned out that this King Jesus of the Jews went on to declare before Pontius Pilate and everybody else to everybody's surprise that after all his kingdom is not of this world and so on... When all the Jews were expecting Jesus to be their king, even by force!

John 6:15 (NIV) Jesus, knowing that they intended to come and make him king by force, withdrew again to a mountain by himself.

The Bible is full of glitches... no doubt!

I think 'modern' Middle Eastern religions consider it to be the Work Of Satan.

I can't actually differentiate between the two, superstition and beliefs in 'fate', 'prophets', 'powers' etc.

Fear of mortality is an exploitable market.
