Im 18, turning 19 in may, im at college, and wanting to continue next year, some of the courses cost like £700.

You get a course 'free' if you've no other qualifications.

otherwise you may get assistance, but it will NOT be free. That 700 quid is only a contribution to the true costs anyway, so it's already heavily discounted.

I was on income support 2 years ago and went to college to do mechanics, i got bored so packed it up. just ring them and see if you qualify for anything. I'm working now so I'm not sure if i could get another free course.

I went to a computer class and now they are not running them anymore. Its aimed more at the young, however there are places but they were being given to people on income support or benefit, ethnic minorities, disabled, people who are less fortunate than ourselves for whatever reasons

if you are on the same course as you were when you were 18 then you should not have to pay..if not then yes you have to pay...

Born and live in Scotland - unless you are a refugee and they probably pay you for going to college.

alot of local libraries have many courses, contact them they will be able to assist you.
