Should I hit a 12 OR a soft 16? guessing you mean OR here
Depends what the dealer is showing...
If dealer has 7 or higher ... hit the 12 and 16...
If dealer is showing 4,5,6... stay with the 12 and double down the soft 16... hope the dealer busts
If dealer is showing 2 or 3 then just hit both...

yes, here is why. only 16 cards bust you ....... either you are playing some silly variation of blackjack where you see the dealers hole card and a 21 pays double or you are cheating and you know what the dealer is holding and therefore you need bail money.. an experienced blackjack player will double down if allowed!

Depends on what the face card count has been for the deck. Count the cards.
The percentages on certain hands can be memorized, but so can the probability that the next card is a ten.
