You SHOULD try to use correct posture, but she is being rude as well since you keep telling her to stop.

Find something that she does that is not right, and start correcting her all the time. When she tells you to stop, ask her why. When she says she's sick of you telling her, say you should practice what you preach as I don't appreciate your comments about my posture.

Or just ignore her.

It is bad etiquette. My daughters hunch and I keep telling them to make their back straight. They stand straight for a few minutes and they hunch again. It is ugly and would cause back pain in the future. I will never stop telling them to not hunch, but try not to do it in front of other people.

You should always try to sit with correct posture, just for your own health, but it demonstrates bad breeding on her part to point it out to you.

Politely inform her that it's none of her business, but thank you for her concern, then change the subject. Keep changing it if she brings it up again.

Good luck!

Good posture and good breeding often go together. But it is bad manners for your friend to mention this more than once.

It's definitely bad etiquette on her part if she keeps reminding you of it. If she asks again, you should just ignore her.

And getting into the habit of sitting straight wouldn't be so bad. (:
