some people just shouldn't be allowed on the internet, for their own good and for the good of everyone else. hes one of them.
hes blocked me now so I can't even report his crap, :-(
as to the actual question, simply put...
faith? the feeling of it? personally for me it FEELS very ..... theres really not words for it. but its a very distinct feel I've heard others seeming to experience, and some non-jewish people experiencing similar types of experience with other cleansing and purifying type spiritual rituals as well.
some might say that this commonality reduces the validity of it, that it means its just some psychological phenomena. but personally i find it to be the opposite, that it validates it.
as a bottom line it comes to a question of what is the fundamental point of repentance. whats the purpose of life, whats the purpose of all of these things.

we don't know for sure, we just have faith.
as for david t, he blocked me too, actually. he's the only person (i know of) who has ever blocked me, i feel kind of special that he finds my opinions so threatening to him. but all he ever does is badmouth the catholics and spew his "whore of babylon" garbage so its not like me and RW are missing much, eh?
