I personally think its wavy straight brunette, but generally what ever colour suites your complexion make you look the most attractive.
There are some rules on length though, if you have a long face dont have long hair as this will just lengthen your face and youll end up looking like that guy in the whole ten yards. na dif your fairly chubby dont have your hair to long or short either about shoulder length is best.
A hairdress once told me that you should match your hair colour to your eye colour to look your best.
Meaning if you have light eyes have light hair, dark eyes dark hair.
I think that brunettes with blue eyes are the most gorgeous though.

me being a long straight brunette would say just that
other people i have talked to like curly or wavy blondes and brunettes

There really is no set color for that.Some guys like blondes and some don`t.Point is that every guy has a diffrent opion.It depends on how you look.Whether you look great with black wavy hair or maybe you look great with blonde straight hair.

The hair colour must complement the facial complexion. For example, a woman with reddish complexion should avoid going blonde. Makes the face look even redder. The same is true for an olive complected woman. Dark hair looks better on olive skin, and darker auburn colour hair tones down reddish skin.

It's what looks best on you. That's dependent on the coloring of your skin, eyes, and occasionally your clothing. You may prefer wavy red hair, but the lady across the street thinks straight black hair is best. When you find the combination that looks best on you -keep it!
