Without the burnt offering?


The LORD said to Moses, "The tenth day of this seventh month is Yom Kippur. Hold a sacred assembly and deny yourselves, and present an offering made to the LORD by fire.

Since we do not have the temple today and burnt offerings upon the alter or sacrifices are not being omitted which means we are in exile,

It is written: I will render to the L-rd the sacrifices of my lips instead of burnt offerings.

And certainly rendering our obediance to G-d in gathering ourselves in Yom kipper and fasting [which is a part of this day] and having the cohanim omitt the prayers on behalf of the children of Israel unto G-d is fullfilling what is written
