HDMI 1.3 is an upgrade from HDMI 1.1....it is backwards compatible...

IF your TV is 1.3, the upgrades in color and reliability take effect, if not it does not have any effect at all on your 1.1 TV.

HDMI 1.3 is a SOFTWARE based modification and changing a cable will not improve it....The TV must have the 1.3 software and associated circuitry inside the TV set.

no you can use a 1.3 cable. it depends i looked at your tv i couldn't find if it was 1080i or 1080p if its 1080i dont bother what you got is as good is it gets 1080p i would because its new to the industry and there still trying to perfect every thing that
is involved with 1080p. or if u want go out and buy one see for your self you will know if its worth the money if not then just return it

There is no such a thing as a 1.3 HDMI cable. All HDMI cables are the same. (Unless of course you buy the thin HDMI connector, but I haven't seen any devices using it yet).

So, just buy any cheap HDMI cable and you will be OK.
