MBA's can do the same jobs that most other college grads can do. I don't know that it opens up anymore doors for you than any other college grad has but it will not hurt you and may even be a tie breaker. But don't expect to go straight from college into a management position just cause you have an MBA.

I have a MBA and this lady who just received her bachelors makes more than me! Almost 20,000 a year more than me. Basically depends on who you work for and tenure.
