and not look like a total douche? i'd actually say it but idk i just cant find the tone or face to make when i say it.....and when would be the right time? when we're alone? when we're laughing and having fun? idk the moment never seems to arrive, yesterday i wrote him a little note saying "i <3 you" and he said, i dont want you to write it i want you to say it...and i just kinda blushed and got all shy.....at that moment i felt like saying "you know how i feel about you, why do you have to cheapen this feeling with words?" or idk 'actions speak louder than words..i rather show you my love than tell you".....is that good or do you have different suggestions? (btw i didnt say anything i just kinda...shied away all smiling...)

You should say it at the very moment you feel it. You can not plan somethng like that. It would be best that the two of you are alone, because it may open a serious discussion between you. Of course that is not always how it happens.

If you want to tell him that you love him, then you should. He is is obviously waiting to hear you say it, he wants you to say it. It comes out easier the first time you say it when you are alone with the guy, instead of with a bunch of other people around. It is more relaxing and you dont have the pressure of his friends or family reacting before he gets to react. Yes, actions are just as good as words to express love, if not better. But you have to remember, it is ALWAYS nice to hear someone say that they love you..it means a lot. You should tell this guy that you love him, he wants to hear you say it, and you want to say it. The first time is the hardest, but once you overcome your fear and just say that you love him, it will get easier and easier. Taking the first step is the hardest, then it gets easier and you wont be so shy about it. So yeah, when you two are alone, just tell him you love him..I am sure he will be very glad to hear it, and very happy as well. I hope thsi answer helped!

Say it, and I believe that he'll understand. If he has already said that he wants to hear you say "I love you", then if you really do, then prove it to him. He isn't asking that much of you. You can do the little things later, but you also need to be sure that he does understand, and appreciate them. Guys can be a bit "dim" when it comes to understanding love the way women do. Love, for them is what is demonstrated, said, or performed, physically. What says "I love you" to a woman just whizzed by him and he never even realized it was there. Boys need to be taught what "love" means to a woman, so you need to be patient with him. No, he doesn't know. He wasn't brought up to know, nor is it a part of his inner being to even guess what women tend to mean unless they are willing to learn, and are taught. You have your work cut out for you, but in the mean time, tell him, that is being fair to him.

If u feel that way then tell him but don't say it if u don't really mean it. And don't listen to that first answer and sign it cause thats not saying it either and he'll think that ur not serious about it or him. Don't stress about the face u make or the tone of ur voice because if he wants u to say it then just hearing it will be enough for him. He won't care about ur facial expressions.

I hate to say it, but you should have said it when he asked you.
But don't despair, you can always ask him out for a date (or other gathering) and tell it to him over dinner (or some other non-distracting setting/place). Explain how and why you feel that way about him.
There is always the "brute force" way, where you can just go up to him and tell it to him straight. ***This way takes guts***
Either way, atleast you get your point across and he should be understanding and appreciate it. Whatever you do, say it like you mean it, from the heart.
If not, you might have to improvise another way. If that doesn't work, he might not be the one for you.

when you have a quiet moment alone , just say i love you. Not when you are laughing when you are just sitting quietly. He wont know you are showing your love unless he knows you actually feel that way about him , so you have to say it first then act on the feeling. Tell him how you feel then show him you mean it

Believe me when I say that telling them isn't nearly as important as showing them. Make sure your actions reflect your words. When you feel it in your heart. That is my answer. Anytime that overwhelming feeling of love floods your heart, just say it. It doesn't matter when, where or who is around. Just say it.

its hard to say it for the first time in a relationship, specially if your just starting.
be brave and just say it
when your alone with him
if your too shy then
hug him and say i love you
he wont be looking at you
so it might make it easyer for you.
