First, if you do a lot of exercise, especially cheer leading you are going to be moving, dancing and probably being lifted.
Secondly, please don't pierce your belly button yourself. You could pierce in too deep, not deep enough and the needle you use won't be sterilized properly. Get it done in a studio where trained professionals can perform the piercing. But make sure the studio you go to is clean, and they use sterilized utensils. Never be afraid to ask your piercer questions.
Piercing is a big decision so to some research and no the risks! Also get your parent permission.
I hope I helped.

It relies upon on your tolerance to soreness. you will experience a minimum of stress once you get it performed. some people think of that the clamps injury better than the needle. regardless of the undeniable fact that it relatively is relatively no longer that undesirable. Sitting right here answering your question, i won't be able to even bear in mind the way it felt. the only factor i in my view bear in mind grew to become into the piercer cleansing my abdomen button, and seeing the cork on the top of the needle after he pierced me. and of direction, observing the piercing for the 1st time. good success!

Dude, get it done professionally. Take my advice - my friends and me tried to do our own.. Some of us were too pussy to put the needle all the way through, but the ones that did ended up with infections and it looks DISGUSTING. Do not do it yourself.

I've never heard of someone doing it themselves and it coming out well. Don't you think it would be worth it to wait and have it look awesome? How are you going to feel about it if it gets infected and is red, inflammed and oozing with puss? Just wait. It is super cute when it heals and will be worth it!

I had mine done a number of years ago and I wouldnt say it hurt. the problem is they didnt tell me that it takes many months for it to heal. That means that it is uncomfortable and rubs on everything you wear. You also do not want to put weight on with one as they stretch and then look horrible. I only lasted with mine about a week then I figured this sucks and got my husband to cut it off with bolt cutters. Am glad I did.
