Well It occured to me that being that its an ambulance and its for emergencies the ambulance may be caught in a cituation where they would need to be traced, it could be ither natural desasters, accidents or other types of emergency. If they don't have any I highly recomend they did.

it depends on where you are, some do and some dont... some of our bigger cities do, but mine does not.. around here we have to call dispatch to tell them where we are at all times.. even if it is to stop and use the bathroom....

Yes they do, around here anyway. It helps control work out where the nearest uncommitted ambulance is to an incident. They also have sat nav.

Depends on the owner of the vehicle. It is a nice added feature but expensive.

They can have them, But in cases outside of cities, they don't. The expense involved with installing them and operating the systems simply outweigh the possible benefits.
