While my brother was living at my uncle's house he bought a TV set which was stolen soon after that. Two others were also stolen. So he moved out to his own place which he made sure was safe from theft. He bought another set and two months later, he came home and found it lying on the floor crushed. The TV stand fell too. There was no earth tremor that day. This seems very spooky. Why cant he keep a TV set? and why does it keep happening?

Maybe he has a "friend" that is a thief and knows when your brother gets a new TV. Sorry, but that does happen.
If he breaks down and does get another TV, have him set up a hidden camera (and don't tell any of his "friends") and see if he can catch them in the act, like they do on TV.....
