ok so i have just recently moved to the hood in ny

while i was infront of my new house this guy was with a group of friends and him and his friends where looking at me.....initially this kinda scared me lol

the guy then walked up to me and we started having a casual convo and he offered to show me around the hood......i said i mite..........btw it would have 2 be alone because i dont kno anybody there yet

he is a 16 year old Black guy and i am 15 year old Persian girl

so i was wondering wat does he want by offering this

oh ya and one more question...........a couple other guys approached me saying that im "thick"........is this a good thing?? lol......like should i be offended or say thnx lol......they said it in like a flirty way lol

and anymore helpful advice would be great to help me get comfortable in my new surroundings

Stay away from guys in the "hood" who hang out on the street. Find a guy in the local library and go with him. He's got a future.

Simply put he, showing you around the neighborhood means one thing- and no, it's not the neighborhood. Haha, sorry for being so blunt, but 16year old kid has a lot of harmones. Oh, and thick generally means you look good for being a little bit heavier.. it's a positive comment, but how you perceive it, negative or positive, is up to you. Hope that helps!

don't go alone with a guy and let him show you around , you don't know him well enough and you could be putting yourself in a bad situation.how do you know he wont have his friends waiting around the corner or something. Maybe wait till you know more people then go in a group or something. Thick means you are a solid build and you have curves , its a good comment and not an insult.

i think what the guys meant were that u are curvy (dont be offended, curvacious women are sexc) and they probably find u hott , ur lucky u made many friends ;)
btw im persian too not so curvy tho
