I can only do OG locs missions in San Andreas?

Question

I have the ps2 version of san andreas and right after I beat the low rider race (high stakes, low rider) the only missions I can do are OG LOCS, rider, sweet,carlos aren't there anymore

is it supposed to be like that because I'm not even close to finishing the game

When you first start out in San Andreas, the only missions that you do are with OG Loc, Rider, Sweet, and Carlos. After you leave the first area of the game( Los Santos), you will be able to do different missions with different people.

You're nowhere near the end of the game because I remember that the lowrider race was in the beginning of the game. You have many, many more missions to go before you beat San Andreas.
