Before buying/accepting anything we check it fully, What about God & Religion? How can we check/examine God?

If I tell anybody that this chair is God, he would straight away reject the idea because his mind does not agree to this. So there must be some particular tests which we can subject all God of different religions. As all religions claim that they are the only right way and others are false, all the religions cannot be correct. So how do we seperate the truth from falsehood.

You can't test it--that's why it doesn't even qualify as the least bit scientific (even a lowly hypothesis needs to be falsifiable).

Any test you could come up with wouldn't be able to prove anything, because no matter what the result, one could claim "God made it happen that way." So it's meaningless.

Such 'pseudo-hypotheses' are complete wastes of time, and have no place in the lives of modern, 21st century human beings.

ASSALAAM-U-ALAIKUM,
Human Beings and JINNS are the only creation of ALLAH who have been gifted with both basic instincts(responsible for our desires) and discretion or mental faculty. ALLAH has, in several places in the holy book QURAAN, asked a person to think, look around in the nature, then think again. Our mental faculty, if used efficiently, can really search a lot of answers for us. Think:-
for atheists:- if they feel there is no GOD and everything happening in this world is due to science, then why is science incomplete? why does'nt the nature fail in repeating it's daily pattern of day and night even once? why does'nt the earth start moving in a different direction making it seem as though sun is rising from west and setting in east.
for idol worshippers:- how can they worship something they create out of their own hands and then, as it is seen in certain festivals, dump the 'REVERED' idol in the water? While making some of these idols, it may happen that some pieces may get a defect, does GOD have any defect in HIM? If so many 'GODS' have made this nature then, why don't we see any conflict of ideas or contradiction anywhere, rather it looks like a well crafted impeccable job done by ONE?
for those who allot sons to gods:- GOD is pure from having any child, wife or parents. If they have alloted a son to HIM then there has to be a wife also, where is she? How can GOD let his son be killed? If for forgiving the generation of mankind, is HE not capable of forgiving without anyone sacrificing his life on behalf of so many people? Also if sins of future generation of people also get forgiven then what is the credibility of the DAY OF JUDGEMENT?
Above all, for those who deny the authenticity of HOLY QURAAN, as challenged in the book itself, ask anyone to make another book, chapter or even verse similar to QURAAN. This is one such challenge which was, is and will continue to be an unmet challenge.

Except for above test there is no full proof test to check/examin God.
This is for consumption of Muslim brothers who have participated in this question. Have you ever read Shrimad Bhagvad Geeta, any Upanishad, any Bhashya, any Pitak, any Aagam, Talmud, Bible, Awesta etc? How can you say nothig is written that is comparable to Quran? I also have not read Quran. But I respect it because there are millions who believe in it. Widen your horizon to appreciate the literary works done by thousands of persons. Never make a sweepping and judgemental statement.

friend, all religion is based on one thing. FAITH. no one died n came back from dead to tell us god is like this n that. that being said u can NEVER examine god. if god was like fire or wind, we can conduct an experiment n examine god. however this is not possible. so the ONLY WAY is to accept the path laid down in religion n follow it sincerely n see if it takes u to god. so if we were to follow religion to see if it works, which one do i choose as there r many religions? friend for this i would say, FOLLOW THE RELIGION U WERE BORN IN. as all religion is based on faith, all religions r equal. i believe all religions lead to the same god, as there is one god,there is no hindu god, christian god or muslim god,, it is only GOD simply becoz all religions tell the same thing, love ur fellow man, serve them.. help all u can, if u can't at least don't hurt. that is the truth

Thank God for it?I am sure that with the criteria you have,you shall never be able to buy in to anything which doesn't have tangible parameters.So,to begin with, all faiths or religions are ruled out.For the rest,there are likely to be methods or means to separate the Chaff from the grain.I hope you live up with this approach in your life.

To checkanything you must have a standard / definition already laid down .Many religions do not have any definition specifically stating what it means by the term god .they seem to assume that everybody knows what god is or Gods are .the early greeks who laid the foundation of sciences hemselves hae been believing in polytheism. It is bhagavad -gita which spoecifically shows what god is .Lord Kraihna in response to the request of arjuna to show him what god is , shows him the cosmos and all that is in it as the totality of God and desribes the nature as the quality of God in creation , sustenance and annihilation and re-creation .He also tells Arjuna that no one can see the totality of 'god withhis physical eye and so he gies him the divine eye of wisdom.god can be seenonly in a small part with the physicacl eye but can be seen ony with the eye of wisdom.Arjuna who sees the ?God through his eye of wisdom-the eye of Gnana- descries what he saw in the god and this descriprtion gies you an idea of what 'god is .that ios he cosmos with all teh galaxies and unverse is god . It is that which creates everything in the unverse , sustins in the universe and annihilates through the formation of the supernova and re-creates he new universes after a kalpa .
These qualities are verifiable scientifically .
It is true that evfen while we buy something tghat is consumable and of insignificant , we test them , scrutinize them and satisfy ourselves abourt the use and quality f he stuff .So we must subject theories of religons and God to a greater and severe scrutiny and be convinced of theri truth before accepting them.the threat of blasphemy is ment to cover up the defects snd deter thepersons from scrutinizing the religious claims and they should be ignored if you want to assess the true alue of any religion.

that's in truth a nature vs. nurture question utilized to faith. If "god" supposedly created the international, alongside with our organic dispositions then why wouldnt we settle for god from beginning? that's certainly particularly interesting, and that i might desire to verify a logical religious answer. I dont have self belief in any faith so I cant even start to fathom how somebody is going to logically clarify this one. Oh, and to Catti-brie. . . . undesirable undesirable analogy. If something, it quickly helps the dude's concept that nurture is what shapes a man or woman's faith, no longer nature. edit: mcshughes, speech is organic through fact that's our progressed form of communication. communication is organic and found out from beginning. toddlers can use sign language and CRYING to get their element for the era of. Crying is the 1st subject a toddler does as quickly as out of the womb. that's a verbal communication.
