Seems that all they want when they set out to date a woman is to hurt her in the end...is that just the way they are or are there actually some gentlemen left in the world who know how to be kind?

Find a book on the subject of dating and what problems often come up. Also, find a book that tells you the ways in which to avoid the issues of picking the wrong guys to say yes to.
Talk to some men who you trust, be careful with this and for warn the fellow before getting heavily into the topic. Start with a couple of easy questions. Like, how do you introduce yourself to a woman, or how should a girl pick a guy to go out with?

There ARE gentlemen left out there... but as long as you keep attracting and rewarding the jerks... and don't make a concerted effort to find the nice guys... you will get more of the same.
That, and you have to kiss some frogs before you find the prince. If you can't handle that, then you aren't ready for adult relationships.

Im sorry that you seem to get stuck with jerks. But there is always hope and there are plunty of good men still out there who would try there hardest to never hurt a woman. Just keep looking you deserve to find a wonderful guy.

I'm in a great relationship right now, but i actually married 2 of those jerks. you can only take the good out of each one, and learn to appreciate what you have now. i don't put too much hart into it anymore. hurts too much when someone changes their mind

Just because they aren't falling all over you doesn't make them jerks. They might be hurting you because it's the only way they know how to get away from you.
