I know the feeling of loving someone so much you just can't contain yourself and there's nothing wrong with that. But you have to be careful in how you show it.So yea, I guess. Too much can be kinda scary for the receiver of the love.

Not with true love, although with the other more base aspects of bonds, both physical and mental, one can become obsessive, a forceful controller, always wanting to get themselves off... the list goes on. But by then, it wouldn't be called love, would it?

Therein lies the problem. Love is subjective. You may think it's love but the other person can feel like it's not.
You may think you're showing love by calling your girl/guy every hour, and they may think you are getting weird.
You may think you're showing love by eating lunch with your 10th grade son everyday in highschool and he's just dying inside everytime he sees you."Umm... yeah...Who brought their mom?."
..so yeah..you can love too much.. lol.

if you lose your identity and who you are because of "love", then yeah, i think you could possibly love too much. you should never lose sight of who you are for another person.

depends on your definition of love.
letting your loved one to be free to do what she or he wants including affairs is true love, because you want the person you love to feel free and be happy , right
or is love just a smothering selfish emotional act.
