I swear my life can't get any worse
my dad is drunk again and his dad came over to 'talk' to him but all their doing is laughing about the whole thing
my mom is crying, I'm crying, and my two little brothers are crying
there is no place to turn and no place to go now
I think he did something to his dad because they haven't been talking for a while and he brought a knife out to the garage with him and scared the **** out of all of us
I know only I can go through this but not even the most hated girl on earth diserves this
so please someone help me
give me advice to get through this before him and his knife get to me
please I'm begging you
if I get nothing I'm going to be dead and if you help me who knows maybe I'll make it through
so please I'm begging for any advice as to getting through this

I am 52 years old and my father was an alcoholic and eventually took his own life when I was 13. I am pretty sure the mental and physical abuse is terrible it was for me. Now holidays with dad always too drunk. However I think possible there is potential for physical harm in you situation. most drunks do harm to themselves in the physical sense than those around them however it sounds like your father may be a mean drunk. You need to let a professional know,a counselor at school. My mother always turned a blind eye when it came to my father no matter what he did because she loved him. Had I had the knowledge I do now he might have been around for my high school graduation. Talk to an adult at school,get some help for him and yourself. I think everyone in your family needs alanon or alateen. They work with you to show it was not your fault and so that you quit blaming yourself. You sound as though your father has destroyed your self esteem and you need a professionals help to get it back. Please call the authorities when it gets bad and for your own mental health talk to a school counselor.

Call 911 if ever this thing happens again.You are just a kid and supposed to be protected by your love ones.I know there is an agency that takes care of abused children.Do you have any idea of contacting them? You should live apart from your cruel parents.Please ask any neighbor to help you.If only i could, I would do it,but distance is impossible for me to do so.Where do you live?,I mean what state? My son is in California,he is a nursing graduate and if you are near to his whereabouts, he can give you some advice.you can e-mail me also and don't be shy.

my dad doesn't drink but me and my mom think he is jelouse of my mom's sister's son's richness. my family is rich, but not as rich as my cousin. my dad yells about my cousin "stealing our money" which is so not true. i tell my mom to get a devorce to get away from all the madness. i'm telling this for her because after she got married, she's been misrable. tell your mom to get a devorce. i also tell my mom to call 9-1-1. you should definitly do the same. my dad has been yelling at my mom scince i was 5.

be lucky that you have people with you.
your not alone.
when your dad isnt drunk then try to talk to him.
tell him that you are scared that he will do something.
maybe he will relize what hes doing to his family.
he needs your help too.
