what happens if i burn multiple mpeg2 files onto a dvd? will my dvd player read it? if my dvd player can read it, how can i select what movie i wanna watch?

p.s please dont give me links to programs or what program i should use. just answer the question and dont gimme any links. i just wanna know plain and simple.

Your DVD player actually reads/plays .VOB files. They use MPEG2 video, but there is also other info that helps the player do proper disc navigation.

So, no, your DVD player probably can't read plain MPEG2 files.
