You don't actually feel the procedure, I was numbed up pretty good, and they kept making sure I didn't feel anything. I could still feel some on my left side so I made sure to tell them and I had another shot, be sure to tell them if you feel anything. I had 6 Novocaine shots along my gums, and then two palette shots, the Novocaine shots really don't bother you, but if you have the palette shots those hurt, I am not going to lie, I made a noise. I also had some of the gas to be calm, and that seemed to really work, talk to your dentist and the assistants about if you are nervous, they really try and help you out.
You shouldn't worry if your jaw feels very stiff and you can't really get your mouth to open, that happened with me and happens with some people, it can be sorta scary at first, you go to open your mouth and it barely opens.
You'll probably be sent home with gauze pressed into the area and about 30-45 minutes after you get home you should probably change them, you pack the gauze into the area and bite down. I found that once the gauze started to irritate the area that was the best time to take it out. About a day after surgery you should rinse your mouth with warm salt water, not a lot of salt, and don't swish too hard, just enough to get some clean. You don't want the blood clots that have formed at the holes to be dislodged, you could get what is called empty socket, and that will hurt. I never had to ice the area, but I have heard that it helps if you are swollen, but you should do it 15 minutes on, and 15 minutes off.
You shouldn't try and eat anything that takes a lot of chewing. Mashed potatoes, instant pudding, I found microwavable mac and cheese from Stouffer's was pretty good, soft enough I didn't need to chew and I could just swallow very easily. Soups are good too.
I was given painkillers, and be sure to take them as directed so that the pain doesn't catch up with you. Also, if your face is still numb, try not to accidentally bite on your cheeks or pinch at your face, I did this and as the numbing wore off, OUCH!

My wisdom teeth removal wasn't that bad. If they're coming in a little they don't have to do too much to get them out. I would suggest going on nitrus oxide instead of anesthesia. You should eat soft foods for a while, you will be sore. When you're not sore you can start to eat solid foods, you just have to flush out the sockets with water. The oral surgeon will tell you how to handle this. Good luck, 14 is pretty young to get them removed.

When you're young, the teeth come out easiers. If you are not being sedated, take 3 tablets of advil right before the surgery. then take 3 more 4 hours later. If you're sedated and can't eat anything before, then take 3 advils as soon as you can. What the advil does ( at the 600mg level) is it prevents your body from making the chemicals that tell the nerves to tell the brain that you've been injured. It can often be taken in conjunction with other prescription medication.
Let me know what they end up prescribing, then I can give you more info.

Depends on how many you need to get removed. I know I had all four taken out at once. Couldn't open my mouth for like two weeks. I would take it easy, don't eat any solid food--eat soft foods like jello, ice cream, pudding..soup. Just be careful. When you start to bruise on your cheeks, use an ice pack. You should be fine.

Wait till its thoroughly healed exceptionally in case you do not use a condom for oral intercourse. this is rather common for foodstuffs to get lodged in the the teeth sockets after extraction and reason an infection, so it wouldnt rather be severe-high quality to have semen floating around in there the two! heavily, it is not adviseable to have oral intercourse with any variety of decrease or lesion on your mouth, so wait till your thoroughly healed up earlier you attempt to offer any oral intercourse.... I could say regardless of the shown fact that, I do purely like the token thought of recieving for a at the same time as instead... maybe attempt that and revel in your self at the same time as you heal!
