how do i remove programs?

Instead of Add/Remove software (which is the best name for the task), its now called Program controls I think (Which is *beeping* stupid)

First you have to determine if the program is a "critical program." Vista has a block that is pre-activated to prevent the deletion of programs that it deems "critical." Go to the add/remove programs. There should be an options box on the left hand side. Click on it and click this off. You should be able to remove the program.

Control panel and then click on programs and features (about half way down) click the program and confirm remove!

Go to your control panel.
click on uninstall a program

Then click on the program you wish to remove. It will ask to confirm if you want to uninstall. Confirm.
