Here is the exact reason why Christians get the bad name as intolerant religous nuts that they do. To demean and say that others are bad people just because they don't adhere to your strict code of how to live is simply ridiculous.
Now to answer your questions.
1)"Don't they know that they are working for satan?"
Yes, we understand that YOU(Christian fundamentalists) say we are working for "Satan." We just simply don't care because we don't belive your myth that Satan exists.
2)"Don't they know that they will be damned just like him for following him?"
See answer to #1
3)"Why do you choose darkness over light??"
We don't see our religion as darkness. Any who do, obviously doesn't understands what neo-paganism is all about. Those who are darkness, are not true to the spirit of ANY truly spiritual path. Even Satanists are not about darkness as you would probabl think they are. Do some research.
4)"i don't understand why they do this??"
Well, you probably never will unless you open your mind just a little to the possibility that Jesus was NOT the only way to spiritual living. He was a great prophet delivering a much needed message to the people of the time: quit focusing so much on DOGMA and live a good, compasionate life of service to the earth and your fellow humans. This later got twisted into: believe as I do or you will die and got to Hell.
5)"you know it wasn't nails that kept JESUS on the cross it was the love he has for you . why would you turn your back on him??"
We have not turned our back on him. It is Christianity we have turned from. The religion as it is today is NOT what he taught. A good Jewish boy such as him would never do the majority of things that modern Christians do in his name. As far as the whole cross thing goes, Jesus was executed by the ROMANS, not the Jews and your own Bible says that he could be found guilty of no heretical chages. That is why the Sanhedrin turned him over to Pilate. BTW the Sanhedrin of the time was just a puppet of the Roman occupation that Jesus was speaking out against. So he was executed by the Romans for treason, not heresy.

Ignorance & intolerance abounds! Why do you want to perpetuate bad feeling between normally good people?
Please do a little research. I challenge you to pick the bible apart to point fingers at all those who are not 100% faithful to it. You have a very long task ahead of you. I doubt that many (if any) of you would pass with flying colors! What you will get here is the typical Christian dribble, typical, I am afraid, of those who chose to condemn rather than understand (BTW Christians are not the only ones guilty of this, and I don't normally point fingers). I would like to see you get some open minded answers not just one that will validate a misconception perpetuated by the intolerant people. But being the nature of the question I am fully aware that this will probably not happen, except for the few of us who have thicker skin & are tired of being scapegoats for ignorance & intolerance. Also don't forget that the Bible says it is OK to stone your child to death if he is being disobedient! Lots of good stuff in that book!
Yes, I am a Witch! We don't recognize the existance of demons or the devil, so how could we worship something that isn't? Evil exists, that is a given, but it is of MAN not of nature. Doing anything even remotely evil goes against our principles. We do our best for humanity and the environment. If we were being influenced or led by the devil, why would he teach us how to use healing herbs and why would he want us to advocate saving the earth? Why would he want us to use our very being to help others? Doesn't that sound more like of "God" than of "Satan"? Can we be so mislead that we spend our entire lives doing good things for people & nature and helping in any way that we can that we are actually doing the work of the "devil"?!? Get real.
It has been pointed out that unicorns are also mentioned in the bible so they must exist, but strange thing is that CATS are not to be found in the bible, therefore they must not exist?
I also suggest you stop using aspirin (willow bark), valium (valerian), digitalis (foxglove) plus inummerable other "drugs" because they are based on herbal knowledge (which is one of our specialties). And I don't think you will find them in the bible either! And Please! Don't get a mid-wife to bring you child into the world, because that is another practice attributed to witches! Oh! Don't forget aromatherapy! Don't forget that the field of medicine was also originated by witches if you want to get down to basics. The cadeuces (the medical symbol) is ancient Celtic in origin, it is 2 serpents entwined on a staff signifying knowledge & wisdom. I am sure that is not in the bible either!!! Especially since the actual symbol predates Christ.
Witchcraft is not evil and has absoloutly nothing to do with Satan, and if people would open their minds and hearts and books (other than the bible) they would see this.
Sorry for the ranting, but sometimes the Religious Reich gets to me.

My gods has a hammer. Your's got nailed to a cross. Any questions?
I won't ***** and moan about what "Jesus' love did for me". You don't know me, you don't know my life, you don't know my path or my choices and waving a Bible in the air doesnt' give you the right to pretend to. You aren't TRYING to understand therefore, I won't waste time explaining it to you.
I will tell you that I pity you and your kind. That live a perfect little black and white box that can only see the world in light and dark, wrong or right, black or white and miss all the textures and colors in between. I love ALL people. Not just those a god deems worthy. Trust me. Accepting ALL Men is much harder then accepting only those who agree with me.

Do you know why you believe the things you believe and the historical significance behind your rituals and where they came from? I'll tell you what, they didn't come from the sky or a person who was speaking divinely; they came from pagan rituals. And Jesus? Well, messiahs were a dime a dozen in the middle east during those days, Christians even had ritual sex with priestesses and encouraged androgyny.
I don't believe in this sort of mythical hell and heaven that you speak of or god, so why would I feel compelled that what I may or may not be doing as witch is wrong when it has been practiced far longer than Christianity.
Where is Anton La Vey when we need him? He must be in hell

C'mon Christians! All forms of prayer, all the ritual of Christianity is as much 'witchcraft' as voodoo chicken sacrifice or Wiccan circle-dancing. It's all the same thing: Physical actions designed to obtain closeness with the divine. So while you are in church this Sunday, ritually cannibalizing the body and the blood of Christ, remember that yours is a tradition (ritual cannabilism for communion; ritual bathing for Christening; ritual banishment for interment) steeped in the beliefs of the murky past. You should celebrate this fact, and you should also feel a brother/sisterhood with ALL other religions. That is, if you actually think that Christianity really is the one catholic and universal truth. If you have your doubts, though, then I can understand how conflicted you might be.
But that's nobody's problem but your own.

Wow. Just wow.
I'll let the Wiccans speak for themselves, but as far as Witches go...
While there are some Witches out there who do worship Satan and are Satanic Witches, not all Witches are. Just so everyone else knows. I'm not going to bother to educate this person...he's going to believe what he wants to believe. Which is fine with me. The only Ones I have to impress are my Gods.

Don't you know you have NO IDEA what you are talking about when it comes to Wicca!
Please tell me HOW can I worship a CHRISTIAN invention that I don't even believe exists?
Wicca was not even around when the bible was written!
During the "BURNING TIMES" not one single REAL Witch was burned! The people that were burned were people who did not fallow the CHURCHES Doctrine.
During the Salem witch trials NOT ONE single WITCH was put to death!!! All the people who died were normal people. The ONLY person who was tried that really did practice magic was Tituba, and she walked out of jail a free woman!
AND by the way the Magic that Tituba practiced was nothing like what Wiccans do!
I feel sorry for you because you are a poor miss guided soul who knows NOTHING of history or my religion!
BLESSINGS!
And I will pray that you will read your BIBLE more!

That is just ignorant! I am a Wiccan and have been one for 12 years now. Wiccans do not believe in Witchcraft. We do not sacrifice animals or virgins. Wiccans belive in the spiritual connection with earth!
Wicca is a nature oriented religion ~ Wiccans consider the natural processes of the Earth and the greater universe to be divine. All life and all lives are sacred.
Members of the Wiccan priesthood, both men and women, are called Witches ~ A Wiccan is not the "witch" depicted by Hollywood images or defamed by the ugly stereotype seen at Halloween. The terms Wicca and Witchcraft refer to the whole of the religion and its practices complete with deity, salvation, ethics, holy days and trained clergy who minister to Wiccan congregations. A warlock is any witch, male or female, who is shunned by the coven for unethical behavior.
Wiccans believe in God ~ To a Wiccan, God (The All) is the all-encompassing, all-powerful force of life - the Creator. Wiccans view The All manifested in a duality of male (God) and female (Goddess), each of equal importance. Though the different religions of the world worship gods and goddesses of many names, Wiccans consider all gods to be one God and all goddesses to be one Goddess. The Wiccan God and Goddess are the same deities as those worshipped by everyone else. There are many pathways, but they are all traveling up the same mountain along the way to spiritual fulfillment and a personal relationship with God
Wiccan ethics are summed up in the following creed: "An ye harm none, do what ye will." ~ This rule, also known as the Wiccan Rede, seems simple, but a great deal of personal responsibility is necessary to live up to its requirements. In striving to fulfill this creed, Wiccans must take responsibility for their actions on a mental, physical, and emotional level. They must give deep consideration to all the possible repercussions of any thought or deed. Wiccans try to live a virtuous and balanced life in harmony with other people and with nature.
Wiccans are NOT Satanists! ~ Satanism is a deliberate perversion and reversal of Christian practices. Wicca predates Christianity and has nothing to do with Satan, who is the Christian personification of evil. In fact, Wiccans do not believe at all in an ultimate evil force. Wiccans do believe that ignorance can lead misguided individuals to commit harmful acts. It is unfortunate that Satanists have stolen and then perverted the sacred symbols of both Christianity and Wicca. This is disrespectful to both religions. Such harmful ignorance of the Wiccan religion by the larger public leads to a belief that Witches are Satanists because of confusion over similar religious symbols.
Wiccans do NOT commit blood sacrifice ~ As practitioners of a life-affirming nature religion, Wiccans find human and animal life sacrifice sacrilegious. The very concept of blood sacrifice is repulsive, and the practice is an abomination to Wiccans.
Wiccans do NOT practice black magic ~ Wiccans do not spend time casting spells or indulging in ego-feeding hocus-pocus. Rather, Wiccans know that when life is responsible and harmonious, things fall into place as they should as if by magic. Well, to Wiccans, this is, magic ~ the only magic. Magic happens when an individual is able to discipline the mind enough to control thoughts, no matter what else happens. According to Wiccan teaching, our minds can be our undoing or our doing. As we think, so shall it be. Thus, magic is a by-product of right-living and disciplined thought.

OK educate yourself.
If Jesus walked the earth today........they would do the same to him as back then.
When Jesus filled the sea with fish , made a blind man see, do you feel he had supernatural powers??? Were people spreading the word about the man who preformed miracles?
People would call him an evil man ....and hang him on a cross.
People like you.
PS. mine is a part of my Italian culture and has been handed down ....which is by the way Roman Catholic
I am so insulted by small minds.

1) We do NOT worship Satan. In any form. There is no equivalent being in our cosmology.
2) Witchcraft is working with the Divine energy that is inherent in the world. There is no power that does not come from God. Sorry, but that's what our religion teaches. I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree.
3) Wicca is a religion of great light, love, laughter, and liveliness. It advocates truly unconditional love and embraces pleasure engaged in with harm to none. We love our Gods because we WANT to, not because we are threatened with eternal damnation if we do not. Furthermore, I find none of the built-in hatred of others and self-loathing that seems to be the hallmark of some kinds of Christianity.
I was a devout Christian for many years. I am much happier, and much more morally centered, now that I am a Wiccan.
4) If Jesus couldn't be bothered to come to my ancestors without the aid of missionaries (and He did not), then frankly I don't figure that worshipping Him is necessary -- otherwise, God would have been MUCH better at getting out the memo.
5) My loving God dies for me every year at harvest, giving His living body that all might be nourished. That's... let's see... approximately 2000 deaths to Jesus' one (and uncounted hundreds of thousands before that). Hmmm.
EDITED TO ADD: to VAN... sounds like you ran into a radical Dianic Wiccan. They do NOT represent all of Wiccan practice, or even the majority of it. Furthermore, it sounds like you ran into someone who was in the religion for the wrong reasons, or who was using it for her own purposes. Every religion has people like that -- even Christianity. Would you want to be judged by the bad apples in your barrel? No? Then offer us the same courtesy.
