can you even IMAGINE what the rest of our universe is like?
what goes beyond our galaxy? how was the SUN created, that big mass of fire a gas that warms the earth from miles and miles away?? if a speck of dust caused a chain of reactions to form our universe, the moon, the earth, and all the living creatures including us humans, where did the speck come from? how can it be just an accident for such an orderly form of life to exist? these questions make me think.

IT is always good to think, but it is better to seek the answers with acquired knowledge!

Blessings!

Beyond the universe? A taco stand, of course!

Try a book called "The Elegant Universe," by Brian Greene. If you haven't been exposed to cosmology in your educational career, this is an excellent read for the layman like yourself.

Also, if you have cable, Neal deGrasse Tyson features prominently in the History Channel's series on the universe. He has written for the layman as well, though I can't think of any of his titles, other than a neat book called "Death by Black Hole."

Both authors mention the subject of "multiverses," a topic that you might find fascinating.

Now get down to your local library and go treat your brain!

Very good question. I think there may very well be other universes beyond our own, some with similar physical laws such as the universe we are in, and some that may be totally different and unlike anything we might imagine.

Another, larger "universe" created this universe, along with several other universes. As to that one... God maybe? We cannot even wrap our minds around our own universe let alone anything beyond it (and completely understand). That is why so many people refute relgion by claiming it has no proof, and so many others refute the big bang by wondering where that came from and being unable to believe that that just happened without anything creating it.

By definition, nothing: the universe comprises all time and space of which we have, or can have, any knowledge. As for the evolution of the universe, we know the story on that with good accuracy and reliability; for the initial creation of the universe, not quite as good, but still pretty good; and the evolution of life on earth we know for a fact. Dear Pretzel,
You MUST take an astronomy course. From the sounds of your question you will LOVE it! It will help you to understand things like how the sun was made and it's incredibly interesting. I love astronomy. It's an endless adventure into the strange and unknown.

Probably the question that fascinates everyone. It has come to my intelligience that the universe holds many wonders and inhabits other species of lifes, hence UFO. Extraterrestials are probably the reason we humans evolved.

Personally, I believe in M Theory and evolution, which go hand-in-hand. I believe that it expands to a certain point, than the anti-matter covers the rest; then again, there's alot of anti-matter in the universe.

You are a deep thinker, not a surface thinker. That is good. Our sun is symbolic of Jesus Chrit, for He is the light of the world. In our fallen nature we lost our spiritual state. our souls however resides in the body or blood. When the sun hits our bodies it makes us feel warm and good, that is why at nigt,or even during power outages, men who no not Christ revert without the sun to that natural fallen, beastly state. Think about that.
