I prefer the 350z not only does it look and run better the parts are cheaper and it's more dependable.

I'd go with the 350Z just for the fact that it is alot newer than the Supra. Parts are going to be easier to find now and especially 5 or 10 years down the road. (no pun intended) And if you don't think that a 350Z can get horsepower like a Supra do a little research. I easily found 350's in the 500hp range.

Well it sounds like you've got the cash, but I would recommend four doors for your first couple cars. How much crap are you going to be able to haul back and fourth to college in a couple years in a 350Z or an RX-8? Start with something used for now that will be able to take the abuse from hauling friends and cargo around. However, if you're determined to have a sporty car right off the bat with the horrible insurance rates, I would say that the tC and the Civic are the closest to what I think your needs are. Personally I would like to have a 350Z or even the 370Z, but it just would not be practical for me, plus I like the gas mileage I get with my tC. I could have fulfilled my fantasies and gotten the 350, but it just was not practical. Whatever you get, I would recommend getting a stick shift (especially in all of the cars that you mentioned) to get the full drivers experience.

the 350z is not in the same class as a tt supra ..but a N/A supra i would give the edge to the 350z.... get a supra more power on tap than a 350z and supra seem to hold a greater re-sale value compared to 350z's
