I get this message whenever I try to play a certain game, what is this and how can i fix it.

I'd follow their advice and "contact the application's support team for more information."
Beyond that, if the company's out of business, or if it's a popular game, you might try to find a fan site and see if this is a known problem.

a runtime error is an unexpected error in an application. It could be a result of a corrupt data file , like high scores for a game . Theres not much you can do except reinstall the application.
If its given you an error message or log then contact support for that game .

uninstall it that comes from a error that has a virus in it and reinstall it but do a virus san frist would be your best option..
