Being that atheism isn't a religion, we don't have any bible! However there do exist many "good books" in regards to atheism's position on the moral nature of man, the potentials of the human race, and the future directions of science--but none of these are required reading, let alone canonical scripture.

The one I use for reference is: The Bible, an American Translation; University of Chicago Press, 1930. Readable, without the annoying diacritical marks on proper names that pollute so many editions.

I do not have one. I like all kinds of books. I do use the scientific method to distinguish fact from likely fiction. But science is more of a way of thinking than a body of knowledge.
I don't limit my books by profession, either. While I'm unlikely to read anything by Rick Warren, for example (preacher) or Tony Robbins (who wrote a woman's place in the home and a woman's guide to sexual purity -- yuck!!!), I will listen to music by Bach, or read the memiors of Casanova (both Christians).
Edit: To bellyanne: I didn't read everything, but I can tell you forthright that atheism is not a denial of "his" (god's existence). There are over two thousand gods believed in by many different cultures, and I LACK BELIEF for them or ANYTHING SUPERNATURAL. Big difference. Also note that your quote by Nietsche is not representative of my views. Atheism is not necessarily nihilism. And it's certainly not a denial, because to deny something that exists you must first have evidence for its existence. Religion does not.

Atheists dont have a bible or book of worship. Ignorant people consider Darwin's book of Evolution as their bible. In order to have a "bible" you must have a religion and the book must contain a set of beliefs that you follow.

Why would we have a Bible? Atheism isn't a religion. You really need to break out of your box if you think everything is a religion or a "belief". Atheism is not believing in any gods.

MY Bible is the little voice in my head telling me what I should or shouldn't do. I like to call it my 'brain', and it helps me get through some of the really difficult periods in my life.

I don't rely on the words of 1900, 1800 year-old men trying to cope with society, here-say, mis-quotes, and events they cannot put in context, or intentional BS to establish power, as words of wisdom with which to live my life.
I have no bible. Perhaps you are chained to yours.
