I haven't seen him since the Bible. He saved the Jews in Egypt, yet we've had genocides in Rwanda, Sierra Leone, Sudan, Armenia, and where has he been? And then there's the mass killings of Persian kings, and in the Midiæval ages, etc. What happened, where has he been?

I was reading in Joshua last night, the part where he brings down the walls of Jericho and every man, woman, and child is slaughtered. I have read the Bible many times all the way through, yet there are still parts i can't make sense out of. But this part always disturbed me. However, for the first time ever, i felt sympathy for the people in terror for their lives, in horror as they saw their babies or aged parents put to the sword. I wanted to CRY!
But it didn't make me angry with God. It opened my eyes. It gave me permission to put this larger-than-life story into the Ark with the Blue Whale in it, and that left me with the realization that God has given the human heart some truly noble tendencies.
Choose to be angry if You want to, but it's all in the way You look at it. How is it possible that the bridge fell apart loaded with rush-hour traffic and only seven people died? Can You spell m-i-r-a-c-l-e? Can You at least feel grateful?

2000 years ago God performed the most amazing miracle ever. He died so that we could be forgiven and saved. We don't need any more miracles because even if there were some (which I'm sure there are) you would not believe them, or you would overlook them. “If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead” (Luke 16:31). God is there. You are not convinced.

Although God helped his chosen people at times in the Old Testament, generally He does not interfere in human existence. Humanity committing genocide against other humans is not God's fault--that is the fault of the humans who committed it.

He's on vacation in the Andromeda galaxy. He should be back in a billion years, when the galaxy is set to collide with the Milky Way.

To DD-This questioner has not claimed to be an only deity with all-powerful capabilities. The question (in easy terms for you to understand) is 'Why interfere before, but not now?
Could it be you're attacking this person's personality b/c their is no reasonable answer as to why?
