No, Darius lll was the king conquered by Alexander the Great in 333 BC Darius reighned from 335-331 BC . King Xerxes who was also know as Ahasuerus ll was the king of Esther's time . Xerxes ruled from 486-465BC or some 130 years before Darius the 3rd.

My pastor is doing a study on Hebrew history with the church and he said that he was the wife of Esther.
