Absolutely not. Faith is entirely unreliable.

Yes, exactly right.
Where there is proof, there is no need for faith.
Faith is the devotion to a belief for which there is no real proof.
For example, you can have faith in the existence of a God- something for which there is both no "actual" proof and reasonable doubt.
Faith wouldn't be "faith" if it's loyalty pertained to anything provable; it would be, instead, a belief- and a true one depending on the amount of proof, or evidence, there was to back it.

Yes, because faith leads to the proof. If you have faith that something exists, then you begin to see proof of that existence. Not proof that others will see, but proof that you know and feel and see in your own life. When people that knew me in high school and college, before I was a Christian, see me now, they cannot believe who I have become. I am almost the exaxt opposite of what I was before. The changes in my life are proof of what I have faith in.

I agree that faith is enough for the individual to make their own decisions, but when someone tries to convert others to their way of thinking, then I think it's only right that they provide proof of their ideas being founded on something more significant than personal, unfounded belief.

i agree.
Hebrews 11
"
1Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
2For by it the elders obtained a good report.
3Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
"
if you have absolute proof then you don't need faith do you?
but the problem is i have proof that GOD is real and my belief is true but the problem is others have trouble accepting my proof and i have trouble showing them.

They're mutually exclusive. If you have proof, you don't need faith, and the inverse would be true as well.
"...FAITH is the substance of things hoped for; the EVIDENCE of things not seen."
The FAITH ITSELF is the evidence or proof.
