It seems kind of weird her him to even ask me to do that. I told him I don't think my husband would like that. I wanted to scream at him and tell him that he is nuts and ridiculus.
Why would he want me to do that? What is going on in his head? I'm sure I'm missing something that might be totally reasonable but maybe not I think it is the most stupid thing I heard.
I broke up with him but I tried really hard not to like hurt him and do it nicely.

I don't think you would be at all out of line if you simply said your husband wouldn't like it, and that it's not appropriate to name a child after an ex. Yes, it is nuts and ridiculous, but you don't have to say that to get your point across.

I'd really like to give you some advise on this, Peggy. But, I have learned the very hard way that it is not wise to give others advise when it comes to matters of the heart. It will come back to bite you on the butt every time without fail. Am currently paying for that mistake.

Tell him 2 get a grip. seems like tho if hes askin u that theres stil sum sorta close relationship goin on between u n ur ex!

if it's not his kid then you have the right to name your kid whatever you want without his input. Besides he could be trying to make your husband jealous. He could easily use that to cause confusion in your marriage.

maybe he feels that if you do name one of your children after him that it means there is still something beetween you? only he will be able to answer this.
