No. Because I would know that the dinosaurs planted the "evidence"!

Here's the thing. I understand what you are saying...and to an extent, yes. The mind does not know what to do with some issues and problems and so there just isn't a way to process it the way one does other intellectual endeavors. But it's hard to call it folly to seek in this manner because we have to work with what we have. We have to make every effort we can, intellectual, and earnest sincerity to seek the truth. In doing that, what is most surprising to me is that so many people make a quantum leap to claiming there is or is not a God without first trying to identify the basic problem of first defining "what is God?" God is a word that these days has lost so much power from overuse and little understanding (outright misunderstanding) coming from the common meaning people attach to it. So, you have tese people that talk about God and go into great platitudes about something that they do not bother to explain what it is they are explaining. If you can't do that, or at least make a stab at where God's perameters are, WHY (and this is a big one) WHY should anyone listen to what you say about God? Because you read a book that tells you God is this, and you believe it? Belief is hardly a qualifier of any great truth, it's just ttemporary vehicle to arrive at a greater truth. If belief never gets you past the place of guesswork, then perhaps the best you can do is say "you know, this is what I think, but I'll just not go evangelizing that because what the hell do I know?" In truth, you never "know" anything...you become. You never answer questions about God, you only outgrow the more childish notions about God, including what one would say God is (if they use the word at all.)

Yes, if its existence were actually proven with real evidence, not the kind of B.S. usually trotted out by believers (such as the idiotic Pascal's Wager).

Whether or not I would worship it is a different story. The way some religious people talk about their god, it sounds insane or downright evil. Why worship a god less moral than you are?

Yes. The whole thing with Atheism is that there's no proof of any god. If there were proof, then an Atheist would be forced to believe. But believing and worshipping are two different things.

Sure... Completely scientific evidence with repeatable results using the scientific method..

What makes you assume this hypothetical deity is a male? Couldn't it just as likely be a female or even an it (I.E. having no gender)...

If proof of gods existence was presented by the scientific world, there would be no athiests....and christians would be running for the hills.

Accept as existing, yes, not sure about the rest though. It would take a thorough reexamination of the belief system(s) before I'd buy into the whole thing again.

I am not an atheist... but I do no there shall never be proof of god, unless the religions admit to serving only a human as god...

Yes, but there is no way to scientifically prove or disprove the existence or nonexistence of god, thus we are all doomed to spend our lives disagreeing with one another.

Proof of the existence of a god does not mean that everything we believe about him is true.
