I co-sign with what the guy before me said.

I was in a big pickle, but to be honest, what I did was get my credit score from myfico.com. They actually monitor your credit score monthly. They charge me 8.95/month for their service.

I also want to add that careful monitoring of your credit report can help improve your credit score but you have to make sure that you are no longer deliquent with your accounts. make sure that you negotiate possible settlements with all of the collection accounts/charge-offs you do have. And that you receive the proper documentation stating that the items have been removed or updated on your credit report.

Don't inquire for anymore credit because that will only lead to reducing your credit score and you will also look desperate to perspective lenders. Inquiries on your report can last up to 2 years and affect your credit score.

Deliquent accounts can last 7-10 years on your credit report but can also last longer if your collection account(s) keep on being sold to other third party collections. Know your statute of limitations in your state and get organized. Don't ignore collection calls because negligence only makes the situation worse

Be careful, budget and manage your money wisely. Be patient, and your credit score will soon be where it is supposed to be at.

also make sure that you get all the valid phone numbers for the credit beaurou's

You improve your credit score by building a longer history of on time payment.

If you are carrying balances on your credit cards, pay them off and only charge what you can afford to pay every month. Carrying balances of more than 30% of your credit limit hurts your score.

You don't improve your credit score by visiting a website.

You improve your credit score by paying your bills.

On time.
