I have taken my small dog(s) into many motels throughout the states. Nobody ever knew. Pay with a credit card, and if they ask you to leave over the dog, you could just dispute it.

do no longer sneak on your dogs, it is not proper how enormous or small that's. If it relatively isn't any dogs allowed, what makes you think of that your an exception? As a individual who travels in many cases with my dogs, I make a factor to hit upon puppy friendly hotels. Do a seek, relatively some chain hotels and hotels settle for pets, some ask for a deposit or have one extra can charge for pets. in the two a protracted time I even have been vacationing with my dogs, I even have never ever snuck my dogs in to "No dogs Allowed" motel.

I wouldn't try sneaking your new pup into a motel. Do a search for pet friendly hotels and motels. I can tell you that La Quinta Motels are pet friendly and don't charge anything extra for your dog whereas some of the pet friendly motels change extra. I had to spend two days at a La Quinta when the A/C broke down last summer. I believe that all Motel Six's are also pet friendly.

Good luck. That's an awfully long drive.

I regularly stay at Best Westerns, Travelodges, Super 8's, and even Holiday Inns, sometimes without a pet charge, sometimes with. The pet charges I have had to pay are not very much at all, somewhere around $10-$15 per dog. Sometimes I have as many as three dogs on my road trips, so I will pay for two and, yes, sneak in the other, quietest one.
You can easily sneak in one, overly-quiet dog to a Best Western or similar hotel. I have done this many times with my smallest dog, who never barks.
You just have to make sure to NEVER leave the dog alone in the hotel room.

To be on the safe side, of course you should only use pet-friendly hotels.
A friend of mine used to sneak in her Brussells Griffon in to fancy hotels like the Hilton all over the country by putting him in her large duffell bag until they were at the room. Needless to say, you need to have solid nerves for this sneaky move.

Pay for a pet friendly motel.

One word of caution for you. A lady was on vacation with her dog and was in a hotel room and the dog got a hold of some rat poison or some kind of roach repellent and she almost lost the dog.
So check the room you stay in for ant traps and other poison traps because they could kill your dog.

No, don't sneak in. If they have a no pets policy, and catch you, you'll be looking for lodging at an inconvenient time of night.

Motel 6 usually allows dogs.

Bon voyage.

I think you should look for a pet friendly hotel. You will be less stressed about someone possibly finding out.
