NOTHING from a pet store. They're not allowed to sell the chemicals that are appropriate for flea treatment, so there's not point buying their stuff because it's just random insecticide. Fleas need special treatment so, no bombs, no powders, no foggers. You need a spray, from a vet. Indorex, Acclaim, Staykil or best yet, Skoosh.

Flea Fogger

I don't like foggers myself, as we have a bird and a large fish tank. However I have heard that Adams foggers work well. I personally use Adams flea spray if we have a flea issue.

The trick to overcoming any flea infestation is to treat everyone/everything all at once. Take the pets to a professional groomer to be bathed and treated. While they are out of the house treat it. This means clean pets come to a clean house and you break the cycle. Start using a monthly treatment like Frontline or Advantage to prevent reinfestation.

I honestly don't know what a 'fogger' is but by far the best flea product for a cat is Revolution. It not only kills fleas, but it also prevents heartworm disease which is a biggg problems in cats all it takes is 1 or 2 heartworms to kill them where as dogs hearts can tolerate hundreds, it also prevents intestinal parasites such as hookworm and roundworms. Treats earmites etc. It's a once a month treatment that is applied in between the shoulder blades.

BTW did you know that cats/dogs get heartworm disease from mosquitoes? It's a fact!!

Go to this site and read up on it!!!

The best product to treat your cat is "Capstar." You can literally see the flees jumping off and dieing. The problem is that it doesn't get rid of eggs, this is where a bath comes in handy :)
