what makes you think there is a such thing as a true messiah . a true messiah is inherently false by definition, it may be a necessity in societal development but it is false as a conclusion . This adolescent neurosis in society is based upon false superstitious thinking and is not the conclusive end to a mature well thought society.

Yes he is !!!!! and then I want to say this and I will hush...... IF anyone disbelieves the Bible they should take a LONG hard look at the Jewish National People, the ethnic Jew..... Read the Bible and other history books and just see how parrallel they are in telling the whole story and what the Jewish People have gone through......... then take all that information and put the peices together...... they are still here alive and well, even though they should NOT be....... the Jewish People should have been literally history and only a memory to the world.... but they are still around and going back to their home land, just like the Bible says they would and will..... Now, tell me, how can a book that people say is fiction or 1/2 truth be sooooooooooooo very precies about a whole nation of people that have been scattered all over the world ????? and in the OT is planly states that the Jew will reject Jesus and the Gentiles will be grafted in...... and we are.... we could NOT be unless Jesus has ALREADY come once....... think about it......... go in peace........ God bless

Jesus was either a Liar, Lunatic, or He was G*d incarnate. The Bible is very clear on who Jesus is. Jesus kept the jewish feasts and fulfilled the requirements of the prophysies.
You don't have to turn your back on the Christ just because your converting to Judaism. There are messianic synagogues that practice Judaism and believe Jesus is who He and the Bible say He is. I'm sorry to hear that you found Christianity confusing there is no need for that. The message of hope and grace is pretty simple. God paid the price for us to be with Him. There is nothing that can take that away. All we need to do is accept the gift. It really is that simple.

Yes he was.It was written that the Messiah who would perform many signs. Through Moses, God had foretold the coming of a great prophet. (De 18:18) In Jesus’ day Jews were waiting for this one. (Joh 6:14) The way in which the apostle Peter used Moses’ words, at Acts 3:22, 23, indicates he knew they would be accepted as Messianic in nature even by religious opposers, and this gives evidence of widespread understanding of Deuteronomy 18:18. The Samaritan woman by the well also thought the Messiah would be a prophet. (Joh 4:19, 25, 29) People expected the Messiah to perform signs.—Joh 7:31.

Yes. If you convert to Judaism, you will still believe in Scripture that prophesies about the Messiah. If Jesus is the Messiah, then you ought to believe in Him. Consider what Gamaliel, a famous Jewish Pharisee said when the Sanhedrin wanted to kill Peter and the other apostles:
But a Pharisee named Gamaliel, a teacher of the law, who was honored by all the people, stood up in the Sanhedrin and ordered that the men be put outside for a little while. Then he addressed them: "Men of Israel, consider carefully what you intend to do to these men. Some time ago Theudas appeared, claiming to be somebody, and about four hundred men rallied to him. He was killed, all his followers were dispersed, and it all came to nothing. After him, Judas the Galilean appeared in the days of the census and led a band of people in revolt. He too was killed, and all his followers were scattered. Therefore, in the present case I advise you: Leave these men alone! Let them go! For if their purpose or activity is of human origin, it will fail. But if it is from God, you will not be able to stop these men; you will only find yourselves fighting against God."
Acts 5:34-39. If Jesus is the Messiah, then unbelievers are fighting against God.

Yes, he IS the Messiah. Many of those prophecies make it clear that the Messiah was a spiritual leader who would, like so many of the prophets themselves, be rejected by the Jewish leadership. This rejection was necessary for him to complete his mission. A living ruler could not fulfill many of those prophecies.
Virtually all of the New Testament writers died in some way because of their proclamations of the risen Jesus. There was too much at stake for so many people who would have known of any conspiracy concerning a fake resurrection to have died without it being revealed.
As CS Lewis put it, Jesus MUST be either LORD, liar, or lunatic. He could not be anything else. Crazy, outright fraud, or he was who he claimed to be, LORD. The "good teacher" or "just a prophet" idea, as backed by Islam, fails that test. John records over 40 times when Jesus' claimed deity.
Any "just a prophet" who makes such claims is either crazy or lying and obviously NOT a prophet.

The christianity that we have inherited today was birthed in anti-semitism. It is anti Torah in it's interpretation of NT scriptures. Jesus/Yeshua IS the Jewish messiah.....but the world has made him gentile. He came in fulfillment of many Jewish prophecies. Yeshua was a Torah observant Jewish Rabbi [Tzaddik] who was born on the Feast of Tabernacles [succot] came as the suffering servant, died as our Passover Lamb setting us free from bondage and making Atonement for us [Yom Kippur], rose from the dead on the feast of First Fruits, sent the Holy Spirit[ Ruah Ha Kodesh] on Shavout [Pentacost], will return on a future Feast of Trumpets to rule and reign for 1000 yrs from Jerusalem in the millenial kingdom.[from the Nile to the Euphrates]. He is Emmanuel, God with us. He is alive, and waits to be invited to live in our hearts [YHWH echad].
Hope this helps. Blessings, Jan

Yes. Read the Bible, Psalms 22 is a good start and much of Isaiah and it is easy to recognize it! Even the Torah records that he existed, did "magic" and had disciples but you couldn't expect a good accounting of him by the people that put him to death and that he kept calling hypocrites!
